To respond to the post, just click on the "comments" after the post.
A blank box will pop up and you or your child types in the comments.
You will need to select "anonymous" on the drop down menu beside "comment as". Next preview and you might have to type in a secret word, then select POST. The comment will be sent to my e-mail and I will approve it before it is posted. Can't wait to hear from you! E-mail me if you have any problems.
Yearbook Sales: If you would like to purchase a yearbook, please send in $15.00. They are going to be really great this year. Don't miss this opportunity to purchase some memories!
Math: We are continuing to count money! We will add quarters to the mix next week! Here's a little "math jingle" to help your child remember!
Five pennies in a nickel.
Two nickels in a dime.
Four quarters in a dollar.
I'm saving all the time.
Please continue to help your child MEMORIZE basic math facts to 18 in both addition and subtraction!
Spelling: We will be learning the sounds of /ir/ /ur/ and /er/ . Here are examples of words you can practice with your child. bird, girl, turn, turkey, nurse, otter, teacher, etc.
Language Arts: We are practicing capitalization of proper nouns, and writing good stories with a beginning, a middle, and an end!
