Welcome to my classroom blog page! My name is Janice Hall. I am married to Sammy Hall, and have four children. I am also blessed to have three adorable grandchildren. My favorite things to do are to go camping, fishing, and to work in my flowers. While growing up, I attended schools in Berrien County. I graduated from Valdosta State University with a BS in Early Childhood Education. I received my Master's Degree in Reading and Literacy in December 2008. I was surprised and honored to be selected as 2010 Teacher of the Year for Berrien County. Reading is a vital part of my classroom. Each day my students will have guided reading groups and shared reading. My students are also encouraged to read books at home through our Accelerated Reader Program. It is my hope that every child will not only learn to read, but love to read, read, read! I also love to integrate as much technology into my lessons as possible!
